Organizer

This event is the responsibility of Silicon Valley Code Camp (SVCC).  SVCC is responsible for hosting.

Fees and Payments

Prices for each workshop are shown on the web site (codestarssummit.com) and can be viewed at any time by registering an account and then continuing to the registration details.  Prices start lower and as the event approaches reach their full retail price for each workshop.   Payments are typically made through the web site using paypal accounts.  If that is not possible special arrangements can be made by the organizers to accept purchase orders and check payments or direct credit card payments at the organizers discretion.

Severability Clause

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, the invalidity of that provision will not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions, which shall remain in full force and effect.

Photographs, Video, etc.

The Organizer may free of charge and without the further consent of the participants use and release pictures and shots taken of the participants and/or their works (such as posters, excerpts of presentations or lectures) during the Conference for reports of the Conference and announcement of events in future. The Organizer may audio and/or video tape the sessions and the tapes may be published and/or sold separately.

Privacy Policy

All personal data provided to the Organizer for registration will be treated as confidential. The data shall be used and stored for further processing and documentation purposes. The information will not be re-used for an incompatible purpose. Data shall be delivered to assigned service providers, as deemed necessary for the successful performance of the Conference. The Organizer will only disclose information to third parties if that is necessary for the fulfillment of the purpose(s) identified above.

Cancellation Policy

If you are registered for Code Stars Summit, cancellations must be submitted by fax to 866-385-4323.  All cancellations received by January 1, 2014 are entitled to a refund minus a $100 processing fee per workshop registered for. After January 1st, 2014, no refunds or credits will be given and no exceptions will be made for any reason.  Substitutions may be made only with the approval of the organizers and at the organizers discretion.  All refunds will be made by issuing checks and not paid back to the original credit card if one was used.

The Organizer reserves the right to modify the content of the program, the speakers and the times of presentations. If the number of participants is insufficient, the Organizer reserves the right to cancel the conference and all related products and/or services without any liability on his part except what is mention in the first paragraph of this section.

Refund Disclaimer

If for any reason, beyond the control of the organizers, the event must be cancelled, the organizers agree to refund any portion of the registration fees for which the organizers are reimbursed by insurance or any other third party and the organizers shall not be liable for any other refund or payment arising from the cancellation or for other liability or damages arising from the event.
